Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, Jibreel would recite a healing prayer over him, saying, "In the name of Allah, may He cure you, may He heal you from every disease, from the evil of an envier when he envies, and from the evil of every possessor of an evil eye."
كان إذا اشتكى رسول الله ﷺ رقاه جبريل قال: باسم الله يبريك، من كل داء يشفيك، ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد، وشر كل ذي عين.
Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Greetings" (2185) from Muhammad bin Abu Umar Makki, who said, Abdul-Aziz Darawardi narrated to us, from Yazid (that is, the son of Abdullah bin Usama bin Hadd), from Muhammad bin Ibrahim, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.
