Aswad reported,

A young man from Quraysh came to visit Ayesha while she was at Mina, and people were laughing. She asked, "What is making you laugh?"They replied, "So-and-so tripped over a tent rope and nearly broke his neck," or "nearly lost his eye."She said, "Do not laugh, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There is no Muslim who is pricked by a thorn or anything greater than that without a degree being recorded for him because of it and a sin being wiped away from him.'"

Sahih
