The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Whom do you consider to be the childless one among you?"They replied, "The one who has no children."He said, "Rather, it is the one who has not sent any child ahead of him."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما تعدون الرقوب فيكم؟ قالوا: الذي لا ولد له. قال: بل، هو الذي لا فرط له.
Bazzar narrated it (860 - Kashf) from Ibrahim bin Mustamir Aruqi, who said, Yaqub bin Ishaq narrated to us, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatada, from Anas, and he mentioned something similar. Its chain is hasan because of Yaqub bin Ishaq, who is Ibn Zayd bin Abdullah Hadrami, their client, Abu Muhammad the grammarian and Quran reciter, one of the narrators of Muslim. Abu Hatim said of him, "Truthful." Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat. Haythami said in Majma (11/3), "Abu Yaala and Bazzar narrated it in abridged form, and the narrators of Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih."Abu Yaala narrated it (446 - Maqsad Ali) through another route, from Rashid Abu Abdullah, who said, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas, and he mentioned something similar.Rashid Zubayri is unknown, as Dhahabi said in Mizan (51/2), and that is why Haythami did not declare this chain sahih, but rather limited himself to what I have mentioned, even though he attributed it to Abu Yaala.
