The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that a man make another get up from his seat and then sit in it himself.Someone asked Nafi, "Does this apply to the Friday prayer?"He replied, "It applies to the Friday prayer and to other situations as well."
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يقيم الرجل الرجل من مقعده، ثم يجلس فيه. قيل لنافع: في الجمعة؟ قال: في الجمعة وغيرها.
