He saw Bishr bin Marwan on the pulpit raising his hands, so he said, "May Allah disfigure these two hands! I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do no more than gesture with his hand like this," and he pointed with his index finger.
أنه رأى بشر بن مروان على المنبر رافعا يديه فقال: قبح الله هاتين اليدين! لقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ ما يزيد على أن يقول بيده هكذا. وأشار بأصبعه المسبحة.
