Allah would awaken the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the night, and dawn would not arrive until he had completed his portion of recitation.
إن كان رسول الله ﷺ ليوقظه الله عز وجل بالليل، فما يجيء السحر حتى يفرغ من حزبه.
Abu Dawud (1316) narrated it from Husayn bin Yazid Al-Kufi, who said, "Hafs narrated to us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha," and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan on account of Husayn bin Yazid Al-Kufi, who is Al-Tahhan. A group of narrators reported from him, and he is among the teachers of Abu Dawud. Muslim also narrated from him outside the Sahih. Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Al-Thiqat (8/188). A narrator of this standing has his hadith graded hasan, though Abu Hatim considered him weak.
