I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drink standing and sitting, pray with sandals on and barefoot, and depart from prayer turning to his right and to his left.
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يشرب قائما وقاعدا، ويصلي منتعلا وحافيا، وينصرف من الصلاة عن يمينه وعن يساره.
Tabarani reported it in Al-Awsat (1235) from Ahmad, who said, Yahya bin Hakeem Muqaddam told us, he said, Makhlad bin Yazid Harrani told us, from Yahya bin Saeed Ansari, from Ataa, from Ayesha. Then he mentioned the hadith.Its chain is hasan because of Makhlad bin Yazid, for he has been criticized regarding his memory, though his hadiths are considered hasan, and he is among the narrators found in the two Sahihs.Haythami said in Al-Majma (2/55), "Tabarani reported it in Al-Awsat, and its narrators are trustworthy."See further, the collected chapters on greetings.
