The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of women are those who remain in the depths of their homes."
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال: خير النساء قعر بيوتهن
Narrated by Ahmad (26542, 6575), Abu Yaala (7025), Tabarani in al-Kabir (23/709), Ibn Khuzayma (1683), Hakim (1/209), and Bayhaqi (3/131), all of them through routes from Saaib, the freedman of Umm Salama, from Umm Salama.Its isnad is hasan because of Saaib bin Abdullah, the freedman of Umm Salama. Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, and there is nothing in his hadith that would be rejected. Rather, it has a basis, as mentioned previously, so his hadith is graded hasan.
