The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman is a source of modesty to be guarded. When she goes out, Satan eyes her eagerly. She is never closer to Allah than when she remains in the depths of her home."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: المرأة عورة، وانها إذا خرجت استشرفها الشيطان، وانها لا تكون أقرب إلى الله منها في قعر بيتها.
Tabarani related it in Al-Awsat, Majma Bahrayn (2322), from Ibrahim (that is, Ibn Hashim Baghawi), Aasim bin Nadr informed us, Mutamir bin Sulayman told us, from his father, from Qatada, from Salim bin Abdullah, from his father, who said, then he mentioned it.Haythami said in Majma (4/314), "Tabarani related it in Al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the sahih." Its chain is hasan because of Aasim bin Nadr, who is Ibn Muntashir Ahwal Taymi, for he is hasan al-hadith. Qatada is Ibn Daama Sadusi Basri, one of the great masters of hadith. He related it this way on one occasion, and on another occasion from the musnad of Ibn Masud, as in the hadith before this one.
