"Shall I not show you the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ?"He then began the prayer. He arranged Some men in a row, and behind them he placed the young boys in another row, and led them in prayer. He described his prayer, then said, "This is how the prayer is performed."Abdul-Ala said, "I think he said, 'the prayer of my community.'"
ألا أحدثكم بصلاة النبي ﷺ، قال: فأقام الصلاة، وصف الرجال، وصف خلفهم الغلمان، ثم صلى بهم، فذكر صلاته ثم قال: هكذا صلاة. قال عبد الأعلى: لا أحسبه إلا قال: [صلاة] أمتي.
Abu Dawud (677) reported it. He said, Isa bin Shazan told us, Ayyash Raqqam told us, Abdul-Ala told us, Qurra bin Khalid told us, Budayl told us, Shahr bin Hawshab told us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanm, who said, Abu Malik Ashari said... and then he narrated it.Its chain is hasan because of Shahr bin Hawshab, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan.
