A man saw in a dream that someone asked him, "What has your Prophet ﷺ commanded you to do?"He replied, "He commanded us to say Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times. That makes one hundred."The questioner said, "Say Subhan Allah twenty-five times, Alhamdulillah twenty-five times, Allahu Akbar twenty-five times, and La ilaha illa Allah twenty-five times. That makes one hundred."When morning came, he mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do as the Ansari said."
Narrated by Nasai (1351). Ubaydullah bin Abdul-Kareem Abu Zura Razi told us, he said, Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Yunus narrated to us, he said, Ali bin Fudayl bin Iyad narrated to me, from Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Rawwad, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he mentioned the same. Its chain is hasan, because of Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Rawwad, for his hadith is hasan when he does not err. Hafiz mentioned it in Fath al-Bari (2/330) and remained silent about it.
