I saw the Prophet ﷺ turn to his right and to his left after the prayer.
رأيت النبي ﷺ ينفتل عن يمينه، وعن يساره في الصلاة.
Ibn Majah (931) narrated it from Bishr bin Hilal Sawwaf, who said, Yazid bin Zuray told us, from Husayn Muallim, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Amr bin Shuayb. With this same chain, the author also narrated (1038) another text, which is, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying barefoot and wearing sandals." This text was also narrated by Abu Dawud (653) through the route of Ibn Mubarak, from Husayn Muallim, with the same chain, and it will come up again in its place. It was likewise narrated by Tirmidhi (1883) through the route of Husayn Muallim, with the same chain, with the wording, "He would drink standing and sitting." This makes clear that this chain is used to narrate a longer text, which will come up divided into its various places. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan sahih."His saying "yanfatilu" means turns away or leaves. And his saying "in the prayer" means after finishing the prayer.
