Ayesha reported,

Ayesha said, "I missed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night, when he had been beside me on my bed. I found him in prostration with his heels together and the tips of his toes facing the qiblah. I heard him saying, 'I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate Your praise. You are as You have praised Yourself.'"When he finished, he said, "Ayesha, did your devil seize you?"She replied, "Do you have a devil?"He said, "There is no human being who does not have a devil."I asked, "Even you, Messenger of Allah?"He answered, "Even me, but I prayed to Allah against him, and he submitted."
