Ibn Majah (840) narrated it, saying, Fadl bin Yaqub Jazari told us, saying, Abdul-Ala told us, from Muhammad bin Ishaq, from Yahya bin Abbad bin Abdullah Ibn Zubayr, from his father, from Ayesha, and he related the hadith.In the chain is Muhammad bin Ishaq, who is a mudallis, and he narrated using ambiguous transmission wording (an'ana). However, Ahmad (26356) narrated it from Yaqub (who is Ibn Ibrahim bin Saad Zuhri), who said, my father told me, from Ibn Ishaq, who said, Yahya bin Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr told me, with the same content. This removes the suspicion of tadlis.As for what has been narrated from a group of the companions, "Whoever has an imam, then the imam's recitation is a recitation for him," all of it is daif. Nawawi weakened it in Khulasah (1173). Ibn Hajar said in Talkhis, "Whoever has an imam, then the imam's recitation is a recitation for him" is well known from the hadith of Jabir, and it has routes from a group of companions, all of them defective. Daraqutni (1/323) and Bayhaqi (2/159) recorded it, and we have explained its defects. Zaylai included it in Nasb Raya (7/2-10) and quoted from these scholars and others regarding its defects.
