The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the afternoon prayer, and when he finished, a man from the tribe of Banu Salama came to him and said, "Messenger of Allah, we wish to slaughter a camel of ours, and we would love for you to be present."He replied, "Yes."So he set off and we went with him. We found that the camel had not yet been slaughtered, so it was slaughtered, then cut up, then some of it was cooked, and we ate from it before the sun had set.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on mosques (624) via Ibn Wahb, who said, Amr bin Harith told me, from Yazid bin Abu Habib, that Musa bin Saad Ansari told him, from Hafs bin Ubaydullah, from Anas bin Malik, and he related it.Muslim said, Muradi (that is, Muhammad bin Salama Muradi, one of Muslim's teachers) said, Ibn Wahb told us, from Ibn Lahia and Amr bin Harith, regarding this hadith.
