The Prophet ﷺ said, "Paradise is built of bricks, one of gold and one of silver."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: بناء الجنة لبنة من ذهب، ولبنة من فضة.
Ahmad (8747), Bazzar in Kashf Astar (3905), Tabarani in Awsat (2553), and Abu Naeem in Sifat al-Jannah (137) all narrated it through various chains from Imran Qattan, from Qatada, from Ala bin Ziyad Adawi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. The wording is Ahmad's, and Bazzar added, "and its mortar is musk." Its chain is hasan because of Imran Qattan, for he is hasan al-hadith when he does not narrate something objectionable, and he has also been corroborated.Bayhaqi narrated it in Bath wa Nushur (257) through the route of Muhammad bin Minhal, who said, Yazid bin Zuray informed us, who said, Saeed bin Abu Aruba narrated to us, from Qatada, with the same chain, similarly, and he added, "its soil is saffron." Yazid bin Zuray heard from Saeed bin Abu Aruba before he became confused in his narrations.
