Naji reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "On the Day of Resurrection, people will be brought across the Sirat, and the two sides of the Sirat will cast them down like moths falling into the fire. Then Allah, by His mercy, will save whom He wills." The hadith continues.
عن النبي ﷺ قال: يحمل الناس على الصراط يوم القيامة، فتقادع بهم جنبتا الصراط تقادع الفراش في النار. قال: فينجي الله برحمته من يشاء. الحديث.
Ahmad (20440), Bazzar (3671), and Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (838) all narrated it from the hadith of Affan bin Muslim, who said, Saeed bin Zayd narrated to us, who said, I heard Abu Sulayman Asri, Uqba bin Sahban narrated to us, from Abu Bakra, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Saeed bin Zayd, who is the brother of Hammad bin Zayd, and his hadith is hasan. Abu Sulayman Asri was deemed reliable by Ibn Main, as Ibn Abu Hatim relates in Jarh wa Tadil (9/380), and Dulabi named him in Kuna (195/1) as Kaab bin Shabib. The hadith was also transmitted through another route from Saeed bin Zayd with a similar chain.
