I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection," or he said, "the servants will be gathered, naked, uncircumcised, and buhman."We asked, "What does buhman mean?"He replied, "They will have nothing with them. Then He will call out to them in a voice that those far away will hear just as those nearby hear it, 'I am the King, I am the Judge. No one from the people of the Fire shall enter the Fire while one of the people of Paradise has a claim against him, until I settle that claim. And no one from the people of Paradise shall enter Paradise while one of the people of the Fire has a claim against him, until I settle it, even down to a slap.'"We asked, "How can that be, when we will come to Allah naked, uncircumcised, and with nothing at all?"He answered, "Through good deeds and bad deeds."
Ahmad narrated it (16042) - and this is his wording -, Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (970), and Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (514), and Hakim declared it sahih (2/437), all of them through routes from Hammam bin Yahya, from Qasim bin Abdul-Wahid Makki, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, from Jabir bin Abdullah, from Abdullah bin Unays, who mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Qasim bin Abdul-Wahid Makki and his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, for both of them are hasan al-hadith. The discussion of it is given at length in the book on knowledge.
