Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Yajuj and Majuj will be let loose and will come out upon the people, just as Allah said, "from every hill they descend" [Anbiya 21:96]. They will cover the earth, and the Muslims will withdraw from them into their cities and fortresses, taking their livestock in with them. They will drink up the waters of the earth, so that when some of them pass by a river they will drink all that is in it and leave it dry, and those who come after them will pass by that same river and say, 'There was water here once.' Then, when no one is left among the people except those in a fortress or a city, one of them will say, 'These were the people of the earth, and we have finished with them. Now the people of the sky remain.' Then one of them will brandish his spear and hurl it toward the sky, and it will come back stained with blood, as a trial and an affliction.While they are in that state, Allah will send worms into their necks, like the grubs of locusts that appear in their necks, and by morning they will all be dead, not a sound to be heard from them.The Muslims will say, 'Is there no man who will offer up his life and go see what has become of this enemy?' So a man among them will set out for this, offering himself for the sake of Allah and reckoning himself already dead. He will go down and find them lying dead, one heaped upon another. He will call out, 'Muslims, rejoice! Allah has spared you your enemy.' So they will come out of their cities and fortresses and turn their livestock loose, and the animals will have nothing to graze upon but their flesh, and they will grow fat on it, better than they ever grew fat on any plant they had ever fed upon."

عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: يفتح يأجوج ومأجوج يخرجون على الناس كما قال الله عز وجل: {من كل حدب ينسلون} فيغشون الأرض، وينحاز المسلمون عنهم إلى مدائنهم وحصونهم، ويضمون إليهم مواشيهم، ويشربون مياه الأرض، حتى إن بعضهم ليمر بالنهر فيشربون ما فيه، حتى يتركوه يبسا، حتى إن من بعدهم ليمر بذلك النهر فيقول: قد كان ههنا ماء مرة، حتى إذا لم يبق من الناس إلا أحد في حصن أو مدينة، قال قائلهم: هؤلاء أهل الأرض قد فرغنا منهم، بقي أهل السماء، قال: ثم يهز أحدهم حربته، ثم يرمي بها إلى السماء، فترجع مختضبة دما للبلاء والفتنة، فبينهم على ذلك، إذ بعث الله دودا في أعناقهم كنغف الجراد الذي يخرج في أعناقهم، فيصبحون موتى، لا يسمع لهم حساب، فيقول المسلمون: ألا رجل يشري نفسه، فينظر ما فعل هذا العدو، قال: فيتجرد رجل منهم لذلك محتسبا لنفسه، قد أظنها على أنه مقتول، فينزل، فيجدهم موتى بعضهم على بعض، فينادي يا معشر المسلمين، ألا أبشروا، فإن الله قد كفاكم عدوكم، فيخرجون من مدائنهم وحصونهم، ويسرحون مواشيهم، فما يكون لها رعي إلا لحومهم، فتشكر عنه كأحسن ما تشكر عن شيء من النبات أصابته قط.
