The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the Dajjal one morning, and the narration continued. While matters stand as such, Allah will reveal to Isa, "I have brought forth servants of Mine whom none has the power to fight, so take My servants safely to Mount Tur."Then Allah will send forth Yajuj and Majuj, and they will swarm down from every height. Their first wave will pass by the Lake of Tiberias and drink everything in it, and when the last of them passes by, they will say, "There was once water here."The Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will be besieged, until the head of an ox would be more valuable to one of them than a hundred Dinars to any of you today. So the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will turn to Allah in supplication, and Allah will send upon them a worm in their necks, and by morning they will all be dead as a single soul dies.Then the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will descend to the earth, but they will not find a single hand's breadth of land that is not filled with their stench and rot. So the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will turn again to Allah in supplication, and Allah will send birds with necks like those of Bactrian camels, which will carry them and cast them wherever Allah wills.Then Allah will send down a rain that no house of clay or hide can keep out, and it will wash the earth until it leaves it like a polished mirror. The hadith continues.In another narration, after his words, "There was once water here," there is an addition. Then they will continue on until they reach the Mountain of Khamr, which is a mountain of Bayt al-Maqdis, and they will say, "We have killed those on earth. Come, let us now kill those in the heavens." So they will shoot their arrows into the sky, and Allah will return their arrows to them stained with blood.
ذكر رسول الله ﷺ الدجال ذات غداة… وجاء فيه: فبينما هو كذلك إذ أوحى الله إلى عيسى: إني قد أخرجت عبادا لي، لا يدان لأحد بقتالهم فحوز عبادي إلى الطور، ويبعث الله يأجوج ومأجوج وهم من كل حدب ينسلون، فيمر أولئهم على بحيرة طبرية فيشربون ما فيها، ويمر آخرهم فيقولون: لقد كان بهذه مرة ماء. ويحصر نبي الله عيسى وأصحابه، حتى يكون رأس الثور لأحدهم خيرا من مائة دينار لأحدكم اليوم، فيرغب نبي الله عيسى وأصحابه فيرسل الله عليهم النغف في رقابهم فيصبحون فرسى كموت نفس واحدة، ثم يهبط نبي الله عيسى وأصحابه إلى الأرض فلا يجدون في الأرض موضع شبر إلا ملأه زهمهم ونتنهم فيرغب نبي الله عيسى وأصحابه إلى الله، فيرسل الله طيرا كأعناق البخت فتحملهم فتطرحهم حيث شاء الله، ثم يرسل الله مطرا لا يكن منه بيت مدر ولا وبر فيغسل الأرض حتى يتركها كالزلفة… الحديث. وفي رواية بعد قوله: لقد كان بهذه مرة ماء زيادة: ثم يسيرون حتى ينتهوا إلى جبل الخمر-وهو جبل بيت المقدس- فيقولون: لقد قتلنا من في الأرض، هلم فلنقتل من في السماء، فيرمون بنشابهم إلى السماء، فيرد الله عليهم نشابهم مخضوبة دما.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Hour (2937), by way of Walid bin Muslim, who said, Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir narrated to me, who said, Yahya bin Jabir Tai, the judge of Hims, narrated to me, who said, Abdul-Rahman bin Jubayr narrated to me, from his father Jubayr bin Nufayr Hadrami, that he heard Nawas bin Saman Kilabi, and he mentioned it. He also narrated it (2937:111) from Ali bin Hajar Saadi, who said, Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir and Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir, with this same chain, similarly, containing the addition mentioned.His saying "naghaf," with the letters vowelled, refers to worms that occur in the noses of camels and sheep, the singular being naghafah.His saying "farsa" means slain, the singular being faris, from the phrase "the wolf farasa the sheep" and "iftarasaha," meaning it killed it.His saying "zahamuhum," zaham, with the letters vowelled, is a verbal noun from "his hand zahimat tazham," referring to the smell of meat, while zuhmah, with a dammah, is a foul stench. He meant that the earth would stink from their corpses.His saying "bi-nishabihim," nishab is a plural, its singular being nishabah, meaning arrows.
