I came to the Prophet ﷺ during the expedition of Tabuk while he was in a tent made of leather. He said, "Count six signs before the Hour.My death, then the conquest of Jerusalem, then a plague that will strike you like the disease that afflicts sheep, then an abundance of wealth such that a man will be given a hundred Dinar yet remain discontented, then a tribulation that will not leave a single Arab household untouched, then a truce between you and the Banu al-Asfar. They will betray it and come against you under eighty banners, with twelve thousand fighters under each banner."
أتيت النبي ﷺ في غزوة تبوك وهو في قبة من أدم فقال: اعدد ستا بين يدي الساعة: موتي، ثم فتح بيت المقدس، ثم موتان يأخذ فيكم كقعاص الغنم، ثم استفاضة المال حتى يعطى الرجل مائة دينار فيظل ساخطا، ثم فتنة لا يبقى بيت من العرب إلا دخلته، ثم هدنة تكون بينكم وبين بني الأصفر، فيغدرون فيأتونكم تحت ثمانين غاية، تحت كل غاية اثنا عشر ألفا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jizya and Truce Agreements (3176), from Humaydi, who said, Walid bin Muslim told us, Abdullah bin Ala bin Zabr told us, he said, I heard Busr bin Ubaydullah, that he heard Abu Idris say, I heard Awf bin Malik, and he related it.His saying, "the sons of the yellow-skinned," refers to the Romans. And his saying, "ghayah," means a banner.
