I was standing with Ubayy bin Kaab when he said, "People will continue to crane their necks in pursuit of worldly gain."I said, "Indeed."He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The Furat is about to uncover a mountain of gold. When people hear of it, they will set out toward it. Those already there will say, "If we leave the people to take from it, they will carry away all of it." So they will fight over it, and out of every hundred, ninety-nine will be killed.'"
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour (2895) via Khalid bin Harith, who said, Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar narrated to us, my father informed me, from Sulayman bin Yasar, from Abdullah bin Harith bin Nawfal, who said, then he mentioned it.
