The Messenger of Allah said, "The days and nights will not pass until the most fortunate person in this world is a worthless son of a worthless man."
قال رسول الله: لا تذهب الأيام والليالي حتى يكون أسعد الناس بالدنيا لكع بن لكع.
Tabarani narrated it in Al-Awsat Majma Bahrayn (4474), and this is his wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (6721). Both came through Walid bin Abdul-Malik bin Musarrih Harrani, who said, Makhlad bin Yazid narrated to us, from Hafs bin Maysara, from Yahya bin Saeed, from Anas bin Malik, who related it.Its chain is hasan because of Walid bin Abdul-Malik bin Musarrih, for he is hasan al-hadith. Abu Hatim Razi said, "Truthful." Ibn Hibban mentioned him among his trustworthy narrators and said, "Sound in hadith when he narrates from trustworthy narrators."Haythami said in Al-Majma (3257), "Tabarani narrated it in Al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except for Walid bin Abdul-Malik bin Musarrih, and he is trustworthy."
