The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your time, compared to the time of the nations that came before you, is like the period between the afternoon prayer and sunset..." and so the hadith continues.
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إنما أجلكم في أجل من خلا من الأمم ما بين صلاة العصر إلى مغرب الشمس… الحديث.
