The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The swiftest of the Arab tribes to perish will be Quraysh. The time is near when a woman will pass by a sandal and say, 'This is the sandal of a man from Quraysh.'"In another narration, "The Hour will not come until a woman passes by a sandal and says, 'This is the sandal of a man from Quraysh.'"
Ahmad (7437) narrated it, and this is his wording, as did Bazzar (9745) and Abu Yaala (6205), all of them from the hadith of Abu Dawud Hafari, Umar bin Saad, who said, Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abu Zaida narrated to us, from Abu Malik Saad bin Tariq Ashjai, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. The second wording is that of Bazzar.Bazzar said, "We do not know of anyone who narrated this hadith from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, except Abu Malik, nor from Abu Malik except Yahya bin Zakariya, nor from Yahya except Abu Dawud Hafari."I say, all of these narrators are trustworthy, so their being the sole transmitters does not harm the hadith. His statement, "this is a Qurashi sandal," means it confirms that this sandal belongs to the Qurashi man who perished.
