The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This clan of Quraysh will bring ruin upon the people."They asked, "What do you command us to do?"He replied, "If only the people would keep away from them."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يهلك الناس هذا الحي من قريش، قالوا: فما تأمرنا؟ قال: لو أن الناس اعتزلوهم.
Bukhari narrated it in the Chapters on Virtues (3604), and Muslim in the Chapters on Tribulations (2917), both of them through Abu Usama, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Abu Tayah, who said, I heard Abu Zura, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.
