The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking through the date palms in Madinah, and the people began to say, "This tree will yield a saa, and that one will yield a wasq."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It will yield such and such."They said, "Allah and His Messenger have spoken truly."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "I am only a human being. Whatever I tell you on behalf of Allah is true, but whatever I say from my own opinion, I am only a human being. I am right at times and wrong at others."
كان رسول الله ﷺ يطوف في النخل بالمدينة، فجعل الناس يقولون: فيها صاع، وفيها وسق، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: فيها كذا وكذا، قالوا: صدق الله ورسوله، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: إنما أنا بشر، فما حدثتكم عن الله فهو حق، وما قلت فيه من قبل نفسي، فإنما أنا بشر، أصيب وأخطيء.

Bazzar (4726) narrated it from Ismail bin Abdullah Asbahani, who said, Husayn bin Hafs told us, Khattab bin Jafar bin Abu Mughira told us, from his father, from Saeed bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said... and he related it, and this is an abridgment of the story of the pollination of the palm trees.Haythami said in al-Majma (1/178), "Bazzar narrated it, and its isnad is hasan, except that Ismail bin Abdullah Asbahani, the teacher of Bazzar, I have not seen anyone give his biography."Ibn Hajar responded to this in his Mukhtasar Zawaid, saying, "He is the well known scholar Sumawayh. Abu Naeem gave his biography in his history, and Ibn Manda, Abu Shaykh, Abu Naeem, and others confirmed his reliability."Its isnad is hasan. It contains Husayn bin Hafs Hamdani, of whom Abu Hatim said, "His standing is truthfulness." His teacher Khattab bin Jafar bin Abu Mughira was narrated from by a number of people, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators. Abu Hatim used to scrutinize his hadith closely, and he wrote to one of his brothers, "Whatever you have of the hadith of Khattab bin Jafar, gather it for me, and obtain it for me by authorization."His father, Jafar bin Abu Mughira Khuzai, was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban and Ibn Shahin. A number of people narrated from him, and he was one of the Followers.
