The Prophet ﷺ had an appointment with Jibreel, but Jibreel was late in coming, which became distressing to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ went out and met him, then complained to him of what he had felt.Jibreel said to him, "We do not enter a house in which there is an image or a dog."
وعد النبي ﷺ جبريل، فراث عليه، حتى اشتد على النبي ﷺ، فخرج النبي ﷺ فلقيه، فشكا إليه ما وجد، فقال له: إنا لا ندخل بيتا فيه صورة ولا كلب.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Dress (5960) from Yahya bin Sulayman, who said, Ibn Wahb narrated to me, who said, Umar, who is Ibn Muhammad, narrated to me, from Salim, from his father, and he mentioned it.
