I was with Ibn Abbas while people were asking him questions, and he did not mention the Prophet ﷺ until he was directly asked. Then he said, "I heard Muhammad ﷺ say, 'Whoever fashions an image in this world will be charged on the Day of Resurrection with breathing the spirit into it, and he will not be able to do so.'"
كنت عند ابن عباس، وهم يسألونه، ولا يذكر النبي ﷺ حتى سئل، فقال: سمعت محمدا ﷺ يقول: من صور صورة في الدنيا كلف يوم القيامة أن ينفخ فيها الروح، وليس بنافخ.
