The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who make these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection. They will be told, 'Bring to life what you have created.'"
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إن الذين يصنعون هذه الصور يعذبون يوم القيامة، يقال لهم: أحيوا ما خلقتم.
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Clothing (5951), and Muslim in the Book of Clothing (2108), both of them by way of Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Abdullah bin Umar, who related it.
