Abu Dawud (4031) narrated it from Uthman bin Abu Shayba, who said, Abu Nadr told us, Abdul-Rahman bin Thabit told us, Hassan bin Atiya told us, from Abu Muneeb Jurashi, from Ibn Umar, and he related it. Its isnad is hasan, because of what has been said regarding Abdul-Rahman bin Thabit, although his hadith is hasan. The discussion of this is presented at length in the book of jihad, and it is a long hadith which Abu Dawud abridged.Similar in meaning is what was reported from Abu Hurairah, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My provision has been placed beneath the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humiliation have been placed upon whoever opposes my command, and whoever imitates a people is one of them."Bazzar (8606) narrated it from Umar bin Khattab Sijistani, who said, Abu Hafs Tinnisi Amr bin Abu Salama told us, who said, Sadaqa, meaning Ibn Abdullah, told us, from Uzai, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it. Bazzar said, "Sadaqa has been contradicted in its isnad, for others narrated it from Uzai with a different isnad, as a mursal report, and Sadaqa was not corroborated in this narration of his from Uzai with this isnad."I say, Sadaqa bin Abdullah Samin, Abu Muawiya, also called Abu Muhammad Dimashqi, is one whose hadith is munkar and daif. Ahmad said, "Whatever of his hadith is marfu is munkar." And he said elsewhere, "He is daif, his hadith is worth nothing, his hadiths are munkar."Daraqutni was asked about this hadith and said, "Uzai narrates it, but there is disagreement over his transmission of it. Sadaqa bin Abdullah Samin, who is daif, narrated it from Uzai, from Yahya, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah. But Walid bin Muslim contradicted him, narrating it from Uzai, from Hassan bin Atiya, from Abu Muneeb Jurashi, from Ibn Umar, and this is the sahih version." Al-Ilal (1754).
