Ibn Majah (3579) narrated it through several routes from Sufyan, from Simak bin Harb, from Suwayd bin Qays, who related it in this abbreviated form. The four (Sunan compilers), Ibn Hibban, and Ahmad narrated it in full detail, and it is cited under the chapter on business transactions. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Simak bin Harb.
