Ahmad narrated it (20322, 20587) through multiple routes from Shubah, who said, "I heard Humayd bin Hilal narrating from Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin Shikhir, narrating from a Bedouin," and he mentioned it. He also narrated it (20058) through another route from Khalid Haddan, from Yazid bin Shikhir, from Mutarrif bin Shikhir, who said, "A Bedouin told me," and he mentioned it.It has also been narrated from Amr bin Hurayth, who said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in two sandals that were stitched." Ahmad narrated it (18736) from Abdul-Rahman, who said, "Sufyan told us, from Suddi, who said, 'Someone who heard Amr bin Hurayth told me,'" and he mentioned it. It contains an unnamed man.His saying "makhsufah" means stitched, from "khasf al-naal," meaning to stitch the sandal.
