The Prophet ﷺ was brought some garments, among them a small black cloak. He asked, "Who do you think we should clothe with this?"The people remained silent. He said, "Bring me Umm Khalid."She was brought, carried in. He took the cloak in his hand and dressed her in it, saying, "Wear it out and make it old." It had green or yellow markings on it, and he said, "Umm Khalid, this is sanah, sanah." Sanah in Ethiopian means "beautiful."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Clothing (5823), from Abu Naeem, who said, Ishaq bin Saeed narrated to us, from his father Saeed bin so-and-so - he is Amr bin Saeed bin As -, from Umm Khalid, and he mentioned it.
