Rifa divorced his wife, and she then married Abd al-Rahman bin Zubayr al-Qurazi. Ayesha said, "She came wearing a green veil and complained to me, showing me the green bruises on her skin."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived, and women support one another, Ayesha said, "I have never seen what believing women endure. Her skin is greener than her garment."The hadith continues.
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Clothing (5825), from Muhammad bin Bashshar, he said, Abdul-Wahhab narrated to us, he said, Ayub informed us, from Ikrima, and he mentioned it. Muslim also reported it in the Book of Marriage (1433) through other routes from Ayesha, in abbreviated form, without mentioning the point in question.
