The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lineage and honor that the people of this world pursue is this wealth."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن أحساب أهل الدنيا الذي يذهبون إليه هذا المال.
Nasai (3225), Ahmad (22990), Ibn Hibban (699, 700), and Hakim (2/163) all narrated it, all of them by way of Husayn bin Waqid, who said, Abdullah bin Burayda narrated to me, from his father, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Husayn bin Waqid, for he is hasan al-hadith.
