Talq bin Ali reported,

I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was reciting "Competition in worldly increase distracts you" [Takathur 102:1]. He said, "The son of Adam says, 'My wealth, my wealth!' But son of Adam, do you really have from your wealth anything other than what you have eaten and consumed, what you have worn and worn out, or what you have given in charity and sent forward?"
