Rarely did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ deliver a sermon to us without saying, "There is no faith for one who has no trustworthiness, and no religion for one who does not keep his covenant."
قلما خطبنا رسول الله ﷺ إلا قال: لا إيمان لمن لا أمانة له، ولا دين لمن لا عهد له.
Ahmad (12383), Abu Yaala (12863), Bazzar - Kashf Astar (100) -, and Baghawi in Sharh al-Sunnah (38) all narrated it through the route of Abu Hilal, from Qatada, from Anas, who related it.Baghawi said, "This is a hasan hadith."I say, it is as he said.
