The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Faith and disbelief cannot coexist in a person's heart, truthfulness and lying cannot coexist together, and treachery and trustworthiness cannot coexist together."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا يجتمع الإيمان والكفر في قلب امرئ، ولا يجتمع الصدق والكذب جميعا، ولا تجتمع الخيانة والأمانة جميعا.
Ibn Wahb narrated it in Al-Jami (464) from Ibn Lahia, from Abu Aswad, from Abdullah bin Rafi, from Abu Hurairah who said, and then he related it. Imam Ahmad also narrated it (8593) through another route from Ibn Lahia with the same chain. Its isnad is hasan because of Ibn Lahia, for his hadith is hasan when narrated from him by the Abadila, and Abdullah bin Wahb is one of them.
