Tabarani related it in al-Kabir (11/335) from Ahmad bin Sulayman bin Ayub Madini Asbahani, who said, my father told us [narrated to us], Muhammad bin Ali bin Hasan bin Shaqiq told us, my father told us, Abu Hamza (who is Muhammad bin Maymun Sukkari) told us, from Abdul-Kareem (who is Ibn Malik Jazari), from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is sahih. Munziri said in al-Targhib (3505), "Tabarani related it with a jayyid isnad." Haythami said in al-Majma (8/110), "Its narrators are trustworthy."
