The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be met by the children of his household whenever he returned from a journey. He once came back from a trip, and I was brought to him first, so he carried me in front of him. Then one of Fatimah's two sons, either Hasan or Husayn, was brought, and he placed him behind him. We entered Madinah three on one mount.
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا قدم من سفر تلقي بصبيان من أهل بيته قال: وإنه قدم مرة من سفر، قال: فسبق بي إليه، قال: فحملني بين يديه، قال: ثم جيء بأحد ابني فاطمة، إما حسن وإما حسين، فأردفه خلفه قال: فدخلنا المدينة ثلاثة على دابة.
