The Messenger of Allah ﷺ disliked sleeping before the night prayer and conversing after it.
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يكره النوم قبل العشاء والحديث بعدها.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Times of Prayer" (568) from Muhammad bin Salam, who said, Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi informed us, who said, Khalid Haddan narrated to us, from Abu Minhal, from Abu Barza, who said, then he mentioned it.Muslim narrated it in "The Mosques and Places of Prayer" (647: 237) through another route from Abu Minhal Sayyar bin Salama, similarly.
