The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade walking in a single sandal, and he said, "Satan walks in a single sandal."
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن المشي في النعل الواحدة، وقال: إن الشيطان يمشي بالنعل الواحدة.
Tahawi reported it in Sharh Mushkil Athar (1358), from Rabi bin Sulayman Muradi, Ibn Wahb informed us, from Layth bin Saad, from Jafar bin Rabia, from Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it. Its isnad is sahih.
