The Prophet ﷺ forbade a man from putting on his sandals while standing.
نهى النبي ﷺ أن ينتعل الرجل قائما.
Ibn Majah (3619) narrated it from Ali bin Muhammad, who said, Waki told us, from Sufyan, from Abdullah bin Dinar, from Ibn Umar who said, and then he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Ali bin Muhammad, who is Ibn Abu Khusayb the Qurashi, the Kufan, sometimes attributed to his grandfather. Abu Muhammad bin Abu Hatim said, "I heard from him in Kufa, and his standing is that of truthfulness." Ibn Hibban mentioned him in al-Thiqat and said, "He sometimes erred."
