Fresh drinking water used to be brought to the Prophet ﷺ from the wells of Suqya. Qutayba said, "It is a spring located two days' journey from Madinah."
أن النبي ﷺ كان يستعذب له الماء من بيوت السقيا قال قتيبة: هي عين بينها وبين المدينة يومان.
Abu Dawud (3735) and Ahmad (24693, 24770) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (5332) and Hakim (4/138) graded it sahih, all of them through the route of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, from Hisham, from his father, from Ayesha, as I have mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, since his hadith is hasan. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim," and Hafiz judged its chain to be good (jayyid) in Fath al-Bari (10/740).
