Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ once visited a man from the Ansar, accompanied by a companion. The Prophet ﷺ and his companion gave their greeting of peace, and the man returned the greeting. He said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ, may my father and mother be ransomed for you. It is a hot hour." The man was at the time diverting water in his garden. The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you have water that has been kept overnight in a waterskin, bring it. Otherwise, we will drink directly from the source." The man was still channeling the water through his garden. The man replied, "Messenger of Allah, I have water kept overnight in a waterskin." So he went off to his shelter, poured water into a cup, then milked one of his domestic animals into it. The Prophet ﷺ drank, then handed it back, and the man who had come with him drank.
