The Prophet ﷺ never criticized any food. If he had a desire for it, he ate it, and if he disliked it, he left it.In another narration, if he had a desire for it he ate it, and if he had no desire for it he remained silent.
ما عاب النبي ﷺ طعاما قط، إن اشتهاه أكله، وإن كرهه تركه. وفي رواية: كان إذا اشتهاه أكله، وإن لم يشتهه سكت.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Foods (5409), and Muslim in the Book of Drinks (2064:187), both through the route of Amash, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.The other narration in Muslim (188) is through the route of Abu Muawiya, who said, Amash narrated to us, from Abu Yahya, the freed servant of the family of Jadah, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.
