Ibn Majah (3263) and Abu Dawud (3773) both narrated it from Amr bin Uthman bin Saeed bin Kathir bin Dinar al-Himsi, who said, my father narrated to us, saying, Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Irq informed us, saying, Abdullah bin Busr narrated to us, saying, then he mentioned the hadith. The wording given here is that of Ibn Majah, while the wording of Abu Dawud contains some additions. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman al-Himsi, for his hadith is hasan.
