The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the things that bring happiness to a person are a righteous neighbor, a comfortable mount, and a spacious home."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من سعادة المرء الجار الصالح، والمركب الهنيء، والمسكن الواسع.
Ahmad (15372), Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (116), and Hakim (4/166-167) all narrated it via the route of Sufyan, from Habib bin Abu Thabit, who said, "Khumayl narrated to me, both myself and Mujahid, from Nafi bin Abd Harith," and he then mentioned it.Khumayl is Ibn Abdul-Rahman Askari. No one narrated from him except Habib bin Abu Thabit, but Mujahid shared with him in hearing this hadith from Khumayl. This Khumayl is among those whom Ibn Hibban deemed trustworthy, so his hadith is graded hasan on that basis, and it has a confirmed basis, which is the following hadith.
