The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden beam into his wall."Then Abu Hurairah would say, "Why do I see you turning away from this ruling? By Allah, I will keep throwing it onto your shoulders."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا يمنع جار جاره أن يغرز خشبه في جداره ثم يقول أبو هريرة: ما لي أراكم عنها معرضين، والله لأرمين بها بين أكتافكم.
Malik narrated it in al-Aqdiyah (34) from Ibn Shihab, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and mentioned it.Bukhari narrated it in al-Mazalim (2463), and Muslim in al-Musaqah (1609), both from the hadith of Malik through this same chain.
